Martha's Community Farm loves teaming up with Villanova University! Villanova’s service-oriented students are always eager to make a positive impact. We’re constantly finding new ways to collaborate. Whether we’re working with classes like Sustainable Agriculture, Computing for Social Good, 3D GIS Drone Mapping, or organizing large scale volunteer days with the Center for the Common Good! This lively partnership creates a fun and productive environment where both the Farm and the students can flourish, continually discovering exciting ways to support and uplift the community!
PennState Extension’s network of Master Gardeners and Watershed Stewards have been a fantastic force of collaboration from very early on in the Farm’s History. From making our Food Forest Riparian Buffer successfully be planted and continue thriving to leading educational gardening workshops for our community!
Partnering with Martha’s Community Farm since 2021, Victory Church has supported Martha’s through their “Big Day of Service”. This community-minded group comes together for the Farm each year to develop unique, amazing projects. on the farm to supply materials for and volunteer as a group to complete! Previous projects have been: A Perennial Herb Garden Planting and Construction, A Native Perennial Pollinator Garden, filling our raised boxes with soil, rehabbing our tool sheds and protecting the trees in our Food Forest!
Aclamo Family Centers are a powerhouse for positivity in the Norristown Latin American community. We love being a resource for many of their programs, bringing groups out to the farm for some fun and enjoyment of the natural beauty of the Farm! From being a host site for their youth STEM camp to Healthy Wednesdays or Adult Summer Camp, we love the life Aclamo brings to the Farm as a partner!
