Meet the Team
The farmers who make the Farm possible!
-
Farm Development and Operations ManagerJesse was born in 1976 as a seedling to the final speech of Tom Joad, “I’ll be ever’where- wherever you look. Wherever there’s a fight so hungry people can eat I’ll be there….and when the people are eatin’ the stuff they raise and livin’ in the houses they build- I’ll be there too.” Jesse has always felt a moral obligation to be of service to others, having worked with Trevor’s Campaign, AmeriCorps, CampHill Special Schools and as Board of Director’s member with the Red Cross in Philadelphia.
He brings his creative experience as a writer and a musician who plays drums and guitar, his operational experience as a General Manager and Real Estate Agent and his fluency in Spanish to work at the farm every day.

Farm Engagement CoordinatorEmma is a lifelong gardener, creative, and lover of nature. She studied Anthropology and Religious Studies at West Chester University and is grateful for the opportunity to bring her love for people, culture, community, and the Earth all together at Martha's Community Farm. When she is not working on building community connections at the farm through events, workshops, volunteers, and social media, you can find her out enjoying nature, spending time in her own garden, trying out a new recipe in the kitchen, or working in her pottery studio.
